Whether you run, walk, ride, or hike, the REACH for GREEN Miles Virtual Challenge gives you the chance to turn movement into environmental impact. Every mile you log will mean trees planted on your behalf, powered by REACH GREEN and the Arbor Day Foundation.

REACH GREEN Expands Leadership to Strengthen Mission and Impact
We’ve added four outstanding members to our Board of Directors and launched an Athlete & Ambassador Board of Advisors, made up of athletes, community builders, and mission-driven professionals who share our passion for protecting green spaces. These leaders bring fresh ideas, valuable connections, and real-world expertise to help us raise more support, reach more people, and drive measurable results.

Local Wins for Green Space Preservation
Raleigh’s New Smoky Hollow Park
Every month, we’ll highlight a success story showing what’s possible when communities invest in green space preservation and restoration.
Spotlight: A New Park is Coming to Raleigh, NC
Downtown Raleigh is on track to welcome Smoky Hollow Park, a 14-acre public green space made possible by an $8.7 million federal grant. The park will restore a long-buried creek and transform underutilized land into an inclusive space for recreation and connection.
Projects like this show what’s possible when cities invest in sustainability and equitable access to outdoor spaces—right in the neighborhoods where people live and move.
